The Old Vicarage

This is a garden I have worked on for 3 years. It is a well loved family garden that had been previously landscaped but the planting integrity had been lost and areas overgrown. I am working with the owners to expand the planting, develop a woodland garden and teach the owner some gardening. We opened it for the first time in June 2019 for the NGS.

Twyning Park

I have been involved in the development of  Twyning Park's garden for over 8 years, initially helping to design and install a mixed border as well as renovate existing plantings. It is now a venue for Weddings and I continue to work with the owners to extend the planting interest whilst maintaining high standards of horticulture.

Amberley House

I have worked for the family that own Amberley House for most of my working life, first at the main residence, at other properties on their Estate and now at Amberley House. We have always worked closely together to chose planting schemes to reflect the owners tastes and regenerate and develop their gardens.

Little Orchard

I was invited by the family that own this garden to 'bring it back to life' and inject new plantings to extend the interest. This has involved renovating existing borders, establishing bulbs & sustainable planting in pots and troughs, creating a rockery, major renewal of boundary hedges and the garden pond. The next step is to develop a bog garden whilst continuing to push out into overgrown areas.

Walton House

At Walton House I helped the owners redesign parts of the garden and add to the plantings ahead of a family wedding. The garden was extended into the field and a bank created and a new terrace to the rear of the house. We have continued the partnership to add more to both shady and sunny borders and unloved corners.

Home Farm

I was asked to renew this garden earlier this year. The only border was lost under weeds and few plants had survived. Using existing paving from around the site I gave the border a sharp mowing edge and planted it up in a mix of dog-friendly shrubs and perennials for year round interest. Other borders are under development as the clearance work continues.
